The Research and Science Society (RASS)

RASS is a membership-based, online forum for chiropractic practitioners who are interested in better understanding and applying research and science. This society engages stakeholder participation by encouraging members to learn, apply, and impact research and science.

Mission

To engage practicing chiropractors and clinical scholars to support and inform chiropractic research, science, and scholarship.  

Purpose

Science and research are essential components of health care professions. 

RASS provides opportunities for chiropractors to become active participants in the application, support, and direction of research. 

Aims

  • Share understanding of new knowledge and the scientific process
  • Promote professional interactions, communications, and dialogue
  • Encourage responsible inclusion of research and science in daily practice
  • Make decisions through the principles of evidence-based practices, which include the intersection of best evidence, experience, and stakeholder-values.
  • Champion the process of lifelong learning
  • Promote critical appraisal skills and ability to recognize accurate information
  • Recognize people and entities that contribute to research and science 
  • Help shape the future of chiropractic research related to clinical practice
